Since growing up on an American compound in Saudi Arabia, Fadi Jabar developed a sweet tooth for American deserts. Many years later he found himself enjoying gourmet cupcakes in New York from bakeries such as Magnolia and Crumbs. Without wasting a beat, Fadi introduced the desert to his home country of Jordan and has since opened the gateway of American cupcakes into other central locations within the Middle East.
Jessica speaks with Fadi about his earlier days as a marketing executive and his process for exposing American sweets to the Middle East, from scratch.
