How much sugar do you add to that soufflĂ©? Ina Garten has spent her professional life addressing these questions. Jessica speaks with Ina, who has built a culinary empire around “no fuss” entertainment.
Ina operated Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food store in East Hampton, New York, for 20 years before becoming a leading cookbook author. Her first five books sold over five million copies, and her show on the Food Network has attracted almost six million viewers per week. Ina also sells a line of prepared ingredients called Barefoot Contessa Pantry, and writes a regular column in the magazine House Beautiful.
Ina discusses the ingredients she used in building her culinary business, from scratch.
